Two-Year Collective Bargaining Agreement Ratified by CHL Owners and Players TEMPE, AZ (September 7, 2010) – Central Hockey League (CHL) Commissioner Duane Lewis announced today that CHL team owners have voted in favor of a proposed new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) reaching an agreement with the Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) on a two-year deal. The ratification by the league’s owners occurred on September 3 through voting from the member teams along with a majority of the players ratifying the agreement on behalf of the PHPA.

All-Star Defenseman Set to Begin Fourth Season in Odessa ODESSA, TX – The Odessa Jackalopes announced today that defenseman Alex Dunn and forward Troy Ofukany will return to the team for the upcoming 2010-11 Central Hockey League season. The two returnees bring Odessa’s roster total to 15 players with training camp just over a month away. |

Season Ticket Holders Had Chance to Visit with Players and Coach Gillis ODESSA, TX – Last Thursday the Odessa Jackalopes held an off-season, “Hockey 101” event for fans and season ticket holders. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the team, visit with Sebastien Thinel and head coach Paul Gillis, and also participate in a question and answer session regarding this year’s team and the game of hockey. |

Berry, Turner Honored with Conference Titles
LEAGUE RELEASE – Central Hockey League (CHL) Commissioner Duane Lewis announced today that the league will recognize two infamous figures for both the CHL and the International Hockey League (IHL) as the title names for the league’s two respective conferences for the 2010-11 season. The CHL announced on June 1 that they have affiliated with the IHL with five teams joining the CHL for the upcoming season (Bloomington, Dayton, Evansville, Fort Wayne and Quad City).

Forward Returns after 30-Goal Season in Permian Basin
ODESSA, TX – After setting career highs in goals, assists and points last year, the Odessa Jackalopes announced today that forward Mike Ramsay will be back with the team for 2010-11. Rookie goaltender Marc-Antoine Gelinas will also join the club for the upcoming Central Hockey League campaign.

All-Star Game to be Played in Rapid City
(Tempe, Arizona) - Central Hockey League (CHL) Commissioner Duane Lewis announced today that the reigning CHL Champion and Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup holder Rapid City Rush and the city of Rapid City, South Dakota will host the 2011 Central Hockey League All-Star Game at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Arena on Wednesday, January 12, 2011.

The Action Doesn't Get Any Closer
The Odessa Jackalopes, in conjunction with the Ector County Coliseum, are bringing back Premium Seating for the 2010-11 season. While the price for floor seating will not change, more people will have the opportunity to watch the Jacks challenge for the CHL Presidents Cup from ice level.
